Origami for Kids

Origami is a great way to teach kids new things, keeps them busy, and builds their self esteem. Kids learn quickly and when you use beginner designs, they will have so much fun. Kids of all ages can create Origami designs.

It will take some time at first and it will not be perfect, but encouragement is the key to helping them. Once they get the hang of it, they will continue to make new and more difficult designs.

Origami can be taught as a school project, projects for Girl Scout or Boy Scout troops, or as a club at school. The designs are unlimited and you can let the kids pick what you do. If you do it for your school, you can use your school colors and mascots.

Origami is great for art classes or social studies classes so you can discuss the history behind Origami and what you make as a class.
